Bullying at work creates a crisis not only for individuals who are targeted, but also for the greater organization. Effective responses to bullying need to address both its impacts and causes, while holding perpetrators of bullying meaningfully accountable for their actions. This workshop will give participants strategies for responding to workplace bullying from the perspective of the target, the witness, and those with authority. This workshop pushes beyond attitudes and responses that rely solely on isolation and punishment and move towards more appropriate and preventative approaches. Participants will develop skills to put a stop to bullying behavior, to keep themselves and others safe, while strengthening individuals and groups to prevent future harm.
